Reset the GSP - basically reboots the GSP, it DOES NOT reboot the server itself. Use this when you receive the message: "Request for console write access failed":
stty +resetGSP < /dev/GSPdiag1
See if the GSP is functional:
stty +queryGSP < /dev/GSPdiag1
